Reminder:
2025 Dues is payable now. A lot has
happened this past year. We sold our building and reemerged from
the ashes as a virtual Post with a full complement of officers
reelected in June for 2024-2025 (as shown on our Post page).
With our Post no longer hampered with the cost and upkeep of
our building, we are able to focus on supporting organizations
that provide housing, training, comfort items etc. for our
comrades both on active duty and those that need assistance
after completing their tours of duty. Our ALA regularly visits
Southwest Veterans Hospital to provide companionship,
toiletries, entertainment etc. Our Riders have been reactivated
to represent our Post at community events and to raise money for
veteran needs. We are also supporting our youth by sponsoring TJ
sports teams. Join us at our monthly meeting and if you have
some time, offer your skills to one of our Post activities.
Mission
Statement
1.
Provide support
and assistance to Veterans (Local, District, County).
2.
Honor deceased
Veterans.
3. Develop and implement activities for the enjoyment of
Veterans.
4. Create and implement programs and Out-Reach activities to
build
Post 712
active Veteran membership.
5. Provide guidance, information and training for Post Veterans
who want
to
take an active role in Post leadership and support activities.
6.
Participate and provide support to our community with community
support
groups and First Responders including Police, Fire, EMT and
Medical
personnel.
Notice
Because of a number of economic issues including the Covid
Virus shutdown, we were forced to sell our building and
reorganize into a virtual Post.
